The Brighton Business Innovation Pitch Competition took place at the Armory Performing Arts Center on Oct. 27. Spectators watched as five local entrepreneurs took the stage to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges in a “Shark Tank” style pitch competition for a chance to win $10,000. The competition opened in September 2016 targeting entrepreneurs and small businesses currently operating in Brighton or planning to open in Brighton. The goal of the competition was to find a viable business or business idea and help get it to the next level with a $10,000 cash infusion.
The Brighton EDC would like to thank all of the applicants who submitted their ideas and would like to congratulate the contestants who competed in the event: Honeykohm, Inc., Prairie Girl Wine Bar, Prodigys Technology Solutions and Something Brewery.
Funding for the Competition is made possible through a Brighton Lodging Tax Committee grant.
