Transportation / Infrastructure
Location, Location, Location
We know the Brighton growth area is one of the fastest growing in the nation. We have a strong, well-educated workforce and a diverse industry that includes energy, healthcare, retail, hospitality, higher education, agriculture and manufacturing. We have lower taxes and sustainable growth – a winning combination for a new business owner, or a large manufacturer planning to relocate.
But it’s no secret to site selectors that one of our greatest assets is location!
Brighton is convenient! We are just 15 minutes from the Denver International Airport and downtown Denver is a 20-minute drive away.
The Denver Metro area is one of the country’s most important transportation hubs, and Brighton is ideally situated for future growth near several major highways and two rail lines.

Airports
Denver International Airport (DIA) is located just 15 minutes from Brighton to the southeast. The world’s 10th busiest airport, and the fifth busiest in the United States, the airport provides service from 14 commercial airlines. DIA has six runways and served nearly 52 million passengers in 2010. Denver International Airport is the only major airport to be built in the United States in the last 25 years. The facility was built to grow, with the capacity for six additional runways, another terminal, and two additional concourses. DIA is Colorado’s primary economic engine, generating more than $22 billion in annual economic impact for the state (Colorado Department of Transportation, 2008).
It’s been voted “Best Airport in North America” by Business Travel magazine for several years, and is the first national airport to integrate public art. Denver International Airport is also one of the world’s greenest airports, and has built the largest solar farm at a commercial airport in the United States.
