Policy Development Council

The Policy Development Council, chaired by Jarod Pate of DePaul Real Estate/Bromley Interstate Business Park, divided its Residential Incentive Committee into two subcommittees in order to address resale home incentive opportunities and new construction incentive opportunities. The Resale Subcommittee is identifying ways to incentivize home sales in the Brighton community.  The New Construction Subcommittee is identifying ways to encourage home builders to build in Brighton.  Incentives the committees are looking at include financial assistance, fee reductions, development standard modifications, and program development.  Real estate professionals, developers, homebuilders, and other interested parties are encouraged to participate in one or both of these subcommittees.

The Resale Subcommittee meets on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Brighton EDC offices. The New Construction Subcommittee meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of the month from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.  For more information call Paula Mehle at 303-655-2020 or email at pmehle@brightonedc.org.
