Hyde Development and Mortenson Break Ground on 76 Commerce Center
Denver, CO. (April 4, 2018) – Officials from the Brighton Economic Development Corporation, the Mayor’s office and Adam’s County joined Hyde Development and Mortenson today to celebrate the groundbreaking on the first phase of 76 Commerce Center, a 1.8 million-square-foot, Class A industrial park in Brighton, CO. The 76 Commerce Center development will bring innovative, first-class ultra-modern industrial space to Adams County and the I-76 commerce corridor. The first phase is a 266,240-square-foot speculative building designed by Ware Malcomb and being built by Mortenson. Newmark Knight Frank is the exclusive listing broker.
The 122-acre site in Bromley Industrial Park is the largest speculative project to emerge in this growth corridor and is one of the most significant industrial land sales in the Denver area in the last decade. The development is a joint venture between Hyde Development and Mortenson, which has served Colorado as a leading builder and developer for over 35 years. As the region’s newest distribution hub, 76 Commerce Center will offer tenants easy access to the entire Denver metropolitan area and the Rocky Mountain region to more efficiently serve the burgeoning front range growth.
“The 76 Commerce Center has been getting great feedback from the market,” said Paul Hyde, co-founder of Hyde Development. “We are excited to break ground on the first building in the park and raise the bar on industrial space offered in the greater Denver market.”
“We’re proud of our history of success with Hyde Development and we’re delighted to be working with them as their development partner and design/builder for their first project in Colorado,” said Maja Rosenquist, senior vice president at Mortenson.
“We’re thrilled to see development take off on the I-76 corridor,” said Brighton Mayor Ken Kreutzer. “This state-of- the-art industrial park presents the opportunity for more jobs in our community and adds great value to the city’s economy.”
The 76 Commerce Center development will be a first class, ultra-modern industrial business center with immediate access to Interstate 76 and include a variety of building types from bulk warehouse to office/ warehouse and light manufacturing, flexible building size options and state-of-the-art building features. It will showcase features including clear heights of 32’ - 36’, 60 mil TPO “cool roofs,” ESFR sprinklers, and significant auto and trailer parking, combined with direct access to I-76 and a mile of frontage. Located in an enterprise zone, 76 Commerce Center also offers quick permitting with PUD zoning in place.
