New Outlook with New Windows for QUEST

Quality Utility Equipment Supply and Tools or QUEST as their known to their customers is a strong Brighton business located in the Downtown district. The team has more 60 years of combined experience and many different product lines giving them the unique ability to provide expert advice on the right tool for any job. QUEST also has one of the largest selections of tools available from mechanical cutters to the latest battery tools.

After learning about the Brighton Investment Program, they applied for the funds and were awarded the matching grant to install new windows at their business.

We sat down with Greg Wilcoxon, owner of QUEST and learned more about how his business is doing and how the grant will help business.

Brighton Economic Development Corporation: How is the company doing generally? What's new? Anything unique that you can share with us?

Greg Wilcoxon: Over all good but it is a constant struggle, we have taken on new products, hired additional staff, moved to the downtown district from the industrial park, hoping to make use of our show room for walk in and existing customers.

BEDC: What specifically did the grant money help you accomplish? How did/will it impact QUEST?

GW: The grant money improved our working environment and our customers perception from the street to inside the showroom, this is important in a "brick and Mortar" environment as we all understand that small businesses have to position themselves to take advantage of all opportunities as the internet can be a friend or foe.

BEDC: What are your plans for QUEST going forward?

GW: To make us solid with our existing customers and develop new lasting relationships.
