New Interactive Brighton Development Opportunities Map

The Brighton Economic Development Corporation has created an interactive Brighton Development Opportunity Map to showcase real estate properties for new businesses or existing ones looking for relocation or expansion options.  The map highlights properties available for commercial and industrial businesses.  This web-based platform allows the user to click on a property outlined in either green or red and see details such as the property’s name, contact information, zoning, acreage, building square footage and parcel number.  In most cases, the marketing brochure for the property is available to view and download.  The Map also allows the user to create a filtered search to display only development opportunities they are interested in such as undeveloped commercial land between 1 and 5 acres.

Permit Smart: Accurate Fee Calculators for Every Project

Building Permit Fee Calculators are now available to assist with projecting Building Permit Fees for affordable housing, residential, and non-residential projects (commercial, public, retail and industrial).  These calculators offer precise estimates of permit fees to help understand the City's fee structure.

Click on the link below to visit the City of Brighton's Community Development page, then scroll down to select the appropriate Building Permit Fee Calculator for your project.

Agribusiness is thriving here

"Our business model depends on a strong public/private partnership and that is what we have found in Brighton that has helped us flourish."

Business owners like it here

"When we came to Brighton, we saw that it was a growing community and appreciated that the city of Brighton works with businesses to help ensure that they are successful. The city has been working to make the downtown area a better, more family friendly, area and that aligns with the type of clients we want at our business."

Support happens here

"Without the support of grants and other opportunities provided by the EDC, Peak Form Medical Clinic and other small businesses in  the greater Brighton community would not be able to flourish and continue to provide services through these difficult times. In addition, their support is instrumental in  attracting new businesses to our community, which makes us all stronger."
